Hi, I’m Tracy. I’ve been in the finance and banking business for nearly 20 years. For the past eight years, I’ve been a mortgage broker specializing in the Kitchener-Waterloo area. Thanks to my passion for mortgage brokering, coupled with my dedicated team and loyal clients, I’m recognized by Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation as a leading mortgage expert in my market. As well, three top lending institutions have awarded me with “status levels”, which means my clients receive preferred pricing as a result of the high volume of annual mortgage business I fund with these lenders. I consistently place in the Top 10 on the Dominion Lending Centres National Top Performers’ Report. I pride myself on my high level of mortgage knowledge, professionalism and experience, which translates into providing my customers with mortgages that are competitively priced and have features that best meet their unique needs.
I have a Bachelor of Arts degree from York University, a mortgage brokering license from Seneca College and I’m a proud Accredited Mortgage Professional (AMP) member of Mortgage Professionals Canada. Mortgage Professionals Canada is a national association of mortgage professionals dedicated to establishing and maintaining high standards, ethics and professionalism in the mortgage industry.
I opened my first professional office location in the Williamsburg Town Centre seven years ago, and I manage a group of four mortgage professionals, who are set to collectively fund nearly $80 million this year. I’m the proud recipient of the Consumer Choice Award for Favourite Mortgage/Lending Company in Kitchener-Waterloo and Cambridge for 2016 and 2017!
I have always remained focused on doing what it takes to run a successful business while also spending as much time as possible with my husband and two kids.

Hi! I’m Heidi, and I am a Mortgage Agent for The Valko Team! I have a variety of work experience, all the way from dairy farming, to banking, to insurance and a background as a mortgage agent. I have always had a passion for getting to know new people, hearing their life stories and helping them make their dreams come true! I have a strong hard work ethic, organizational skills and a fun personality that looks forward to making people smile and to see the positive in everything.
In my spare time I thoroughly enjoy being the treasurer of the Tavistock Royals hockey team, an executive member of the Stratford Agricultural Society and the organizer of the Stratford Fair Ambassador program. I like to travel when I get the opportunity and spending time with my two dogs, Sadie and Tucker.
Hi, I’m Kate and I am the newest Mortgage Agent on The Valko Team. I have over 12 years of experience in the financial industry working with one of the major Canadian banks. Most recently, I spent the last 5 years as a Mortgage Specialist, helping hundreds of clients achieve their dream of home ownership. Whether you are a first-time home buyer, looking to either upsize or downsize, refinance, or invest in real estate – I have experience in all areas of residential financing.
Born and raised in the Kitchener-Waterloo area, I am passionate about our growing community. I have my Marketing diploma from Conestoga College as well as my Bachelor of Business degree from Griffith University, where I was fortunate to spend a year overseas in Australia for
my post-secondary studies.
My fiancé and I moved out to the country this past summer with our two dogs; Lelo, a Weimaraner, and Zeus, a German Shephard. When I am not at work you will most likely find me outdoors, whether it be on a hike with our dogs or relaxing by the bonfire with family and friends.
Hi, I’m Melanie. I pay close attention to detail and am the designated organization queen within the office. My expertise is in keeping files in order by piecing together each component of the mortgage puzzle. I deal with all the office paperwork, which keeps me on my toes trying to help out in every situation and ensure all deals run smoothly. I have a very strong analytical sense as well as a solid working knowledge of where deals should be placed, as I keep myself in-the-know when it comes to the latest lender offerings.
I’m the proud mother of three beautiful and active girls, who are heavily into sports, including ringette, hockey and horseback riding.
My husband and I help run organized events through the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation as two of our daughters were diagnosed with juvenile diabetes at an early age. We have a huge support group and we also support families who are going through similar situations.
Hi, I’m Michael, and I head the Legal and Compliance Department with Valko Financial Ltd., and The Valko Team! I am a licensed mortgage broker specializing in private financing, and received my broker license at the age of 25, noted as one of the youngest licensees in Canada at the time. I am an out-of-the-box thinker and can always find creative financing solutions for clients. I am a licensed Paralegal, and prior to joining The Valko Team, I provided general legal services to the general public.
I currently live with my partner, Justin, in Toronto with our 16-year old Miniature Pinscher, Kiwi. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, travelling north in the summer, and south in the winter to tropical destinations.

I am very proud of my two sons who are both attending university; they keep me busy! In my spare time, I enjoy gardening, reading, projects around the house and especially spending time with my Golden Retriever, Lucy.

Born and raised in Vancouver, Gerry’s love for the real estate industry hit early, with his entry into a career in real estate at 20 years old.
